Brief Description
A perfect blend of power and practicality. My car was standard and had the black with gold flecks paint work. The car had the 17 inch gold alloy wheels and was a Europe Import.
Reliability
Very reliable performance car. Only had one issue with the car in the two years i owned it. This issue however was a ongoing probem. If the car was not started within around 10 days the battery went flat. I purchased a new battery however the problem persisted. Subaru took a look and could not find the cause of the battery drain. Their advice was to drive the car with the side lights on as ths immediately charges the battery. Clearly i don't think they new what the problem was. |

Performance
Much smoother power delivery than the older generation impreza. I owned a L reg import wrx which actually felt a little bit quicker due to the more aggressive power delivery. Handeling however is vastly improved over the older impreza's. Chassis felt much stiffer. |

Practicality
Huge boot and plenty of head and leg room inside the car. After all the car is based on a family saloon Fantastic blend of performance and practicality. |

Comfort
The ride comfort was suprisingly good. Could easily travel a long distance in this car. |

Cost
Poor on fuel consumption if driven sensibly and shocking fuel consumption if the car is driven hard. Will struggle to get 200 miles out of a full tank. What do you expect from a large family saloon with a turbo charged engine. Brake discs and pads need to be changed frequently, replacement pads with fitting cost over £200! |

Overall Rating
Incredible performance, this car will make a poor driver look good. Fuel consumption could be better but if want a fuel efficient car buy a diesel. This is a true drivers car that can appeal to most ages due to it's flexibility. |
