I have a 1983 ford escort XR3 Turbo that pushes through a carb, the car came with a few reprint booklets all relating to a Group A kit fitted to the car, listing all the part numbers and identity. I have the DVLA history that notes the vehicle being registered to Ford's test centre. My query is how do i find out if this is one of the original test turbo's that the Special Vehicle Unit made? Any help on the cars additional history or how to obtain it would be greatly appreciated
